Ballet
Ballet is the perfect introduction to dance for any age! Learn classical ballet moves through our dance lessons and creative play. Students will learn ballet foundationals, leaps, turns, and have fun!
Summer-
Age 2/3- Tuesdays 1-1:30PM
Age 3/4- Mondays 5-5:30PM
Age 5-7- Mondays 5:30-6:15PM
What to wear-
*Leotard, ballet skirt or tutu (optional), ballet shoes

ACRO

Acro is dances version of TUMBLING. In this class, we teach the foundationals of tumbling-- hand stands, backbends, kick overs, and we progress with each student, challenging them to more advanced skills such as walkovers, handsprings, and aerials as they grow.
Age 4-5: Thursdays 1-1:30PM
Age 6-7: Thursdays 7-7:30PM
Age 8-12 Level 1: Thursdays 6:15-7PM
Level 1-- Little to no tumbling experience, still working on handstands, cartwheels, and bridges
Age 8-12 Level 2: Thursdays 7:30-8:15PM
Level 2-- Minimum requirements-- a front limber, a front walk over (front or back), and a one handed cartwheel.
Age 12+- Mondays 6:15-7PM
What to wear-- Hair completely up and out of face-- tight fitting clothing (tank tops, shorts) so that clothing stays on when tumbling.
Technique- Leaps, turns, and legs

This class is perfect for-
1. Emerging or current competition dancers
2. Members of pom/dance teams
In technique class, dancers will focus on different types of leaps, turns, and leg/flexibility skills that are commonly used in jazz, pom, and contemporary.
Examples include: Pirouettes, A La seconds, Firebird leaps, calypsos, turning disks, center leaps, scorpions, leg extensions, and more.
Age 8-12- Thursdays 5:30-6:15PM
Age 12+ Mondays 7-8PM
What to wear-
Athleisure clothes and half shoes. Hair completely up and out of face.
Stretch and Strength

Stretch and Strength is a 30 minute supplemental class designed to help dancers strengthen their muscles used in dance skills such as leaps, turns and legs. Dancers will also work on their leg and back flexibility.
Mondays 8-8:30- Ages 12 and up.
What to wear- Barefoot or half soles only. Athleisure clothes and hair up.
Contemporary

Contemporary is a style of dance that combines emotional storytelling and flowy movements. It is a combination of ballet, modern, and jazz roots. This style is expressive, powerful, and individual.
Age 7-11 - Tuesdays 5-5:45PM
Age 12+ - Tuesdays 7:30-8:15PM
What to wear- Barefoot or half shoes. Athleisure wear and hair up.
Hip Hop/Jazz

This high-energy combo class blends the sharp, technical foundation of jazz with the dynamic, expressive style of hip hop. Dancers will build strength, flexibility, and precision through jazz technique while also exploring rhythm, grooves, and performance quality in hip hop.
Class will include across-the-floor progressions, conditioning, and choreography in both styles, helping dancers grow in versatility, musicality, and confidence. This class is perfect for dancers who want the best of both worlds—clean technique and bold performance.
Class Times:
Tuesdays 5:45-6:45 PM- Age 8-12
Wednesdays 6:45-7:30- Age 5-7
What to wear-
Jazz shoes or half soles for jazz portion. Tennis shoes for hip hop portion. Athleisure clothes and hair up.
POM

Pom is a fast-paced, high-energy class that combines sharp, precise motions with strong technique and performance quality. Dancers will focus on clean arm placement, synchronization, and powerful execution while incorporating elements of jazz, hip hop, and kick technique.
This class emphasizes stamina, sharpness, and team unity, helping dancers develop strong performance skills and confidence. Dancers will learn dynamic choreography designed to build strength, precision, and stage presence—perfect for those interested in school teams, performance opportunities, or competitive dance.
Age 5-7 - Wednesdays 5:15-6PM
Age 8-12 - Wednesdays 6:45-7:30PM
Age 12+ (combined with JAZZ style)- Tuesdays 6:45-7:30PM
What to wear-- Half shoes and athleisure clothes. Hair up and out of face.
IMPROV

Improv dance is all about freedom, creativity, and self-expression. In this class, dancers learn to move without choreography, exploring their own unique style through guided exercises and prompts. We focus on musicality, emotion, and storytelling, helping dancers build confidence in their instincts and movement choices.
Dancers will develop skills in freestyle, adaptability, and performance presence while learning to trust their bodies and think creatively in the moment. Improv is perfect for strengthening artistry and unlocking a deeper connection to dance—no two classes are ever the same.
Mondays 8:15-8:45 PM- Age 12 and Up
What to wear- Athleisure Clothes and barefoot, half shoes, or tennis shoes. Dancers will do all styles of improv in this class.
HIP HOP

Hip Hop is a high-energy, upbeat class focused on rhythm, style, and performance. Dancers will learn foundational hip hop movements while exploring grooves, musicality, and personal expression. This class encourages individuality and confidence, allowing dancers to develop their own unique style.
Class will include across-the-floor work, freestyle exercises, and fun, dynamic choreography set to age-appropriate music. Dancers will build coordination, strength, and performance quality in a positive, energetic environment.
Age 5-7 - Wednesdays 6-6:45PM (Combined with JAZZ)
Age 8-12 - Tuesdays 5:45-6:45PM (Combined with JAZZ)
Age 12+ - Wednesdays 7:30-8:15 (Hip Hop Only, not a Combo Class)
Competition off season training

Is your dancer ready to go to the next level and do competition dance? Here at Level Up, to prepare your dancer for our competition program-- we offer what we call "Off Season Training"
from March to May. This program trains dancers in the styles of jazz, pom, hip hop, contemporary, and acro.
Every other Sunday, March-end of May
Level 1 (New) and Level 2 (Intermediate) dancers are able to join.
